Joel McGuire is a graduate of Northwestern University School of
Law, and has spent over a decade helping businesses and individuals avoid
and solve problems, and improve their bottom lines.
Joel's practice areas include business litigation, labor
and employment law, international litigation, banking litigation, municipal
law, land use litigation, and condominium law. Joel has
extensive experience at all stages of litigation, having served as first
chair in numerous jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations, and having
conducted appellate oral argument before Ohio's appellate courts.
Through his extensive training and experience, Joel earned the
professional litigation certification of "Master Advocate" by the
National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), and is currently the only attorney
in greater Cincinnati that has done so. Joel has
repeatedly been named one of Ohio’s Super
Lawyer Rising Stars by the publishers of Law & Politics magazine.
Before
attending law school, Joel served as a U.S. Army officer and Airborne
Ranger. Joel earned the NATO Medal and Southwest Asia Service Medal
for serving in Kuwait and Bosnia.
Due
to his professional accomplishments and community service, Joel earned the
prestigious "Forty Under 40 Award" by
the Cincinnati Business Courier for being one of the top forty business
professionals in Greater Cincinnati under the age of 40, which receives
thousands of nominations. Joel also earned the 2011 "Cincinnati
Leadership Award" by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, being
chosen as one of 17 winners from over 200 nominees.

is admitted to practice in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
